Robbery Awareness Training

A presentation is provided by Raid-Control within this pack that will provide the level of training required to achieve certification.

It is a recognised fact that the behaviour and actions of staff is a major deterrent to criminals. By portraying a consistently high level of awareness to the threat of crime staff can greatly reduce the likelihood of becoming a victim.

Purpose:

  • To improve the level of staff awareness to the risk of robbery.
  • To provide a strategy to deter criminal behaviour.
  • To create a safer working environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • Training must be given to all staff irrespective of their knowledge and experience.
  • Training should be conducted on a regular basis. It is recommended that staff receive the training on an annual basis to refresh awareness.
  • All new employees must receive the training within two days of starting work.
  • The Register of Training must be maintained in order to monitor training requirements and as proof of training being completed.
